CIM RM Awards

Alcumus are in the running to win two coveted awards: ‘Risk Management Product of the Year’ and ‘User Implementation’ at this year’s Risk Management Awards, following the announcement that its Info Exchange software has been shortlisted in two categories.

Alcumus entered the awards to showcase its expertise, and the decade-long partnership between the organisation and its client the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), to deliver the scalable and highly flexible software solution – Info Exchange.

Working together with RBS – the large international banking and financial services company – for over 10 years, Alcumus was set the challenge to develop a system that retained all the property details, statutory asset details, statutory inspection cycle and remedial action management all within the continually changing environment. Other system objectives included the flexibility for the Suppliers to interface and input all relevant documents/actions and a comprehensive output reporting module to provide assurance to RBS Facilities and Senior Managers that compliance is being managed within pre-set risk appetite.

James Cooke, Statutory Compliance Manager within the Compliance and Assurance Team at RBS said: “Visibility of our risk control is vital and both internal and external processes have vastly improved since implementing Alcumus Info Exchange. The flexibility of the software and the dedication of our Alcumus support team to configure the system to our needs has resulted in an extremely successful long-term partnership between the two businesses, and has made Alcumus Info Exchange the platform of choice for RBS. They are extremely deserving of this award shortlist for continually adapting to meet customers’ changing business needs.

“Ultimately, Info Exchange has transformed our business, providing visibility at the click of a mouse of our risk factors so we can mitigate them more effectively and manage our supply chain to deliver upon their obligations most efficiently.”

Alan Neill, SVP Software Solutions, commented: “Here at Alcumus, we are thrilled to hear that we have been shortlisted to win two awards! Our Info Exchange web platform is a truly comprehensive, scalable and secure, software solution that has been developed to pre-empt and mitigate risks, ensure compliance obligations are met, and help our clients, such as RBS, to make informed management decisions based on robust data. We will now eagerly await the overall winner announcements at the awards this November.”

Now in its seventh year, the Risk Management Awards recognise those individuals, organisations and teams that have significantly added to the understanding and best practice of risk management.

The winners will be announced at the highly anticipated gala dinner and awards ceremony on 10th November 2016 at the Millennium Hotel in Mayfair, London. The event was attended by over 250 guests in 2015, and this year the event is set to be bigger and better than ever.
