The Alcumus Info Exchange and Prince's Trust Partnership team, before meeting HRH The Prince of Wales at the Alcumus Head Office official opening ceremony

Alcumus is pleased to celebrate the start of a new partnership with The Prince’s Trust. The UK’s leading charity for young people is set to introduce the innovative Alcumus Info Exchange software solution as part of a three-year benefaction agreement.

The partnership will see The Prince’s Trust benefit from a bespoke web-based information management system that will streamline its health, safety and compliance management procedures. The introduction of Alcumus’ software will free up valuable time and resource, allowing the charity to focus on its core commitment to ‘giving young people the practical and financial support they need to stabilise their lives’. Over the last 10 years alone, The Prince’s Trust has helped to return £1.4 billion in value to society through its help of young people.

Andrew Griffiths, Senior Head of Health and Safety at The Prince’s Trust, said:

“We saw an opportunity to enhance our health and safety processes as we handle large amounts of disparate data. We have worked in close partnership with Alcumus to build a system that is fully tailored to our requirements, and from April 2017 will use it for everything – from adverse event reporting to looking after safeguarding data.

“The system will enable us to be more transparent in our reporting, empowering staff and helping us to learn. Based on Alcumus’ previous successes, we are confident that the system will provide managers with precise, tailored and up-to-date information at the touch of a button.”

Martin Smith, CEO at Alcumus, said:

“We are extremely proud of the partnership with The Prince’s Trust, and thrilled that we can contribute to the charity’s commendable purpose of giving young people the chance to succeed in life. As with all of our clients, we have taken a consultative approach to ensure that they get the best out of the platform, and are confident that it will help the organisation to move forward in its aims.”

On 24th February 2017, Alcumus was honoured to have His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales officially open its new Cardiff head office, where he met the Prince’s Trust project team who have been working on the partnership. His Royal Highness’ speech from the day can be read here, on the official website of The Prince Of Wales.

The Prince’s Trust will be joining blue-chip companies, government departments, other charities, and over 100,000 users worldwide, who use Info Exchange to support their governance, risk and compliance management.
