Alcumus ISOQAR is proud to announce that it has been awarded UKAS accreditation for ISO 50001, the internationally recognised management system standard for energy management.
The United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) is the UK’s national accreditation body responsible for assessing organisations against a rigorous set of competency standards.
ISO 50001 is the latest addition to Alcumus ISOQAR’s portfolio of accreditations. The standard is one that is swiftly gaining traction within both the UK and overseas markets and is particularly relevant to larger organisations which are subject to the government’s Energy Savings Opportunity scheme (ESOS).
This new UKAS accreditation is further evidence of Alcumus ISOQAR’s technical proficiency and integrity when it comes to its Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) services. The company has already awarded ISO 50001 certification to a number of companies who will now receive accredited certificates and a growing number of applications for ISO 50001 are currently being processed.
