Alcumus, the market leader in compliance risk management, certification and accreditation, will be showcasing Alcumus SafeContractor, the UK’s fastest growing health and safety assessment scheme, at this year’s London Build Expo 2016.

Taking place at London Olympia on 26-27th October, the risk compliance expert will be meeting construction industry professionals from stand D58 and explaining how they can benefit from the scheme.

Alcumus SafeContractor enables businesses to reduce risk by establishing and maintaining an approved contractor list, something that is vitally important to the construction sector. This is achieved by ensuring that the entire supply chain is compliant by identifying and flagging perceived risks before any work takes place. As well as highlighting health and safety risks, the scheme provides businesses with a full audit trail to evidence that participating companies are meeting legal requirements.

Since its inception the Alcumus SafeContractor scheme has experienced rapid growth and now has 300 clients, and over 27,000 contractor members, all of which have access to the scheme’s benefits package that includes trade discounts and insurance services.

Alcumus will also have information on its other services, including its property and COSHH compliance software to ensure that property consultancy is at the forefront of health and safety management, meeting legislative demands and achieving industry best practice.  Alcumus ISOQAR are UKAS accredited to the main management system standards, and will have information on certification to and training on ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 27001 standards.
