Market leaders in compliance risk management, certification and accreditation, Alcumus, will be demonstrating how it supports businesses to manage exposure to risk and comply with the latest legislation at this year’s Safety & Health Expo, London.
A key focus for Alcumus on its stand (T1860) will be the recently rebranded Alcumus SafeContractor – the UK’s fastest growing health and safety assessment scheme.
Alcumus SafeContractor enables businesses to reduce risk by establishing and maintaining a compliant, approved contractor list. This is achieved by ensuring that the entire supply chain is compliant by identifying and flagging perceived risks before any work takes place. As well as highlighting health and safety risks, the Alcumus SafeContractor scheme provides businesses with a full audit trail to evidence that participating companies are meeting legal requirements.
The scheme has experienced rapid growth since its launch and has now been adopted by 272 major clients, including: Debenhams Retail Plc, and General Motors UK, and has nearly 26,000 contractor members.
Martin Smith, Group Chief Executive for Alcumus, said: “There have been a lot of positive changes at Alcumus in the past year, such as the group’s acquisition of the SafeContractor assessment scheme, and this year’s Safety & Health Expo provides us with the ideal platform to communicate our enhanced offering to customers and prospects. Alcumus experts will be on the stand ready to provide advice and information on how Alcumus can benefit your business.”
