This free event is aimed at those with responsibility for managing health and safety risk including Health & Safety Managers, Facilities Managers, Building Managers and Landlords.
The CPD accredited seminar will be approximately 2 hours long and will count towards your continuing professional development.
This event will cover the new sentencing guidelines, the pitfalls of risk assessments, contractor management and CDM. The speakers will draw on their experience in supporting many clients and use engaging case study examples to bring the subject matter to life.
During the seminar there will be refreshments and a chance to network with like-minded peers, as well as an opportunity to meet our team regarding any aspect of statutory property compliance and risk management.

Steve is a consultant at Alcumus undertaking health and safety, fire, legionella and disability access audits.
His previous experience includes working as a surveyor for Alder King and Sanderson Weatherall. As an early adopter of good health and safety within these practices, Steve’s passion for health and safety led him to retrain and become a health and safety professional over a decade ago.
Tim is a Senior Health and Safety Consultant at Alcumus and has 34 years’ experience as a health and safety practitioner.
Having started his professional career in the construction industry, where he has worked for two national construction groups as a Regional Health and Safety Advisor, Tim has been responsible for the development and delivery of CDM consultancy to Alcumus customers during the launch of the 1994, 2007 and 2015 Regulations. His work has involved the delivery of advice and guidance to all categories of duty holder under the current regulations i.e. Clients, Principal Designers, Designers, Principal Contractors and Contractors.
