Today the Road Haulage Association (RHA), partnering with the Alcumus Group, launches ‘RHA Smart Safety’ health and safety solution to its members.
RHA Smart Safety has been tailored by Alcumus specifically for RHA members, and is a new and innovative way for them to manage their health and safety responsibilities, ensuring full compliance. With this new easy-to-use online service, they will also have access to their own consultant and on-hand technical support.
Following an initial assessment by RHA Training Managers, the information is input onto the online system using the unique risk assessment wizard, allowing users to take control at their own pace. The system has the tools and resources to allow members to complete many of the specific tasks identified in the initial risk assessment, using a simple traffic light based system.
Vanda Bell-Preston, Partnership Development Manager of Alcumus, said: “We have been providing expert services to help businesses achieve best practice in health and safety for over 30 years, and I am delighted that the RHA has recognised this experience by partnering with us.”
Steve Ellis, Head of RHA Training added: “The introduction of RHA Smart Safety to our range of health and safety related products and services allows us to work closely with our members whilst increasing their independence through the easy to use online system. Smart Safety is the ideal way for members to provide a safe working environment for staff and others affected by their operations.”
