Sodexo Ireland has gained certification for ISO 9001, ISO 14001:2004 and BS OHSAS 18001:2007.

The company’s  ISO 9001 certification for Quality Management now encompasses the full range of services that Sodexo provides to clients which includes catering, security, support services and building maintenance.

Sodexco has also gained ISO 14001: 2004, an internationally applied standard designed to measure and improve the way in which natural resources are used and disposed of by an organisation.

BS OHSAS 18001:2007 measures how occupational health and safety management systems are managed across the business.

To highlight the company’s success, Margot Slattery, managing director took part in a photo call with John Kane, health & safety executive, Sodexo Ireland and Steve Stubley, technical director for Alcumus which carried out the auditing process.

John Kane oversaw the  project for the Republic and Northern Ireland and he said, “ISO and OHSAS allow a company to benchmark its existing management systems and processes against best international practice and make any necessary improvements. These certifications demonstrate to our clients that Sodexo is now delivering the highest quality standards of service to them on a daily basis.”
