This course is designed to update the skills for people who need to renew their statutory First Aid at Work certificate and whose existing certificate is still valid.
Who should attend?
This training course is designed for people who need to renew a valid First Aid at Work certificate. The First Aid at Work certificate is valid for 3 years and this course re-qualifies candidates at the end of this period. We recommend refreshing skills annually with our First Aid Annual Skills Update course.
Candidates must be physically able to carry out the procedures detailed in the course outline and must attend the 2 sessions to be eligible for assessment.
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) requires all delegates attending the requalification course to have a current and valid First Aid at Work certificate prior to attending. When your booking has been confirmed via email, please assist us by sending a scanned copy of your existing first aid certificate.
First aiders whose certificates have expired for more than 28 days must attend the First Aid at Work (3 day) course. Please note that you will need to have completed this course before the 28 days after expiry of you certificate is up.
