Alyn Franklin – Chief Executive Officer
Alyn has extensive business leadership experience within the GRC and professional services sectors. He has been with Alcumus for 8 years having previously held both CFO and COO roles with the Group. As CEO, he leads the Management Team and has overall responsibility for the Group’s strategic development, including both the organic and acquisition-related growth plan.
After graduating with an Economics Degree from Cardiff University and becoming a chartered accountant at Arthur Andersen, Alyn has over 15 years’ experience in financial, operational and commercial roles.
His previous experience includes Audit and Advisory Manager at Arthur Andersen, sales management for Coors Brewers, Financial Controller at Wincanton, Finance Director at Connaught Compliance, CFO at Santia Consulting and, most recently, COO for the Alcumus Group.
Ken Coveney – Chief Financial Officer
Ken has responsibility for all aspects of finance and has a wealth of finance, change management and leadership experience within professional services, certification and information businesses.
Prior to joining Alcumus, Ken was CFO of Crown Agents, and also held a number of roles with BSI including Managing Director of their product certification business and Finance Director of their publishing and content business. Prior to BSI he was a Director of Finance at Thomson, (now Thomson Reuters).
Ken has a degree in Management Science from Trinity College Dublin and is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
Mike Fogden – Chief Marketing Officer
Mike has responsibility for all aspects of marketing within the Alcumus Group and has over 15 years’ experience in senior commercial marketing leadership roles across the Financial Services and Telecommunications industries.
As CMO, Mike leads the marketing team in the design and execution of the Group’s marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with the commercial business units in the delivery of our business plan.
Prior to joining Alcumus, Mike held various leadership roles with the B2B functions for both RAC and Vodafone. Before this, Mike worked in numerous marketing roles at Abbey National/Santander, including management roles within the Savings & Investments business unit.
Mike has a 1st Class Honours degree in Business Management Studies from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne.
Alan Neill – SVP, Software Solutions
Alan as over 30 years’ experience in key IT roles ensuring the effective selection, development, implementation and support of IT solutions both in the UK and overseas.
Alan is responsible for the development and growth of our Alcumus Info Exchange business unit and supports many of our internal and client facing SaaS technologies as well as the continued sales growth of Alcumus Info Exchange, ensuring high levels of customer care are maintained as the business expands.
Previous experience includes founding Info Exchange, IT and Communications Director for Globe CM, as well as senior IT roles for companies including Miller Group and Tarmac.
Nikki Sammé – Director, Alcumus ISOQAR
Nikki has more than 20 years’ experience in GRC and TIC business support services, leading various commercially focused business growth initiatives.
Nikki is responsible for the Alcumus ISOQAR business unit and is central to a number of technology-led service development projects designed to underpin our future growth.
Previous experience includes senior marketing roles at The Home Retail Group, British Standards Institution and Barbour EHS.
Zoe Evans – Director, Alcumus HSE
Zoe has over 15 years’ experience in managing the delivering of strategic health and safety risk management services to key sectors including financial, retail, banking and property management.
Zoe is an experienced leader and has worked in technical, commercial and account management roles in the UK and Internationally. Prior to Alcumus, Zoe worked in Local Government as an Enforcement Officer as well as holding commercial and delivery roles in National Britannia and Santia.
Zoe is responsible for the Alcumus HSE business unit and revenue streams, including the development of the Middle East offering through our Dubai office.
Gemma Archibald – Director, Alcumus SafeContractor
Gemma has 12 years’ experience in sales, account management, business improvement and operational roles and has recently completed a Masters in Lean Enterprise.
Gemma has responsibility for the Alcumus SafeContractor business unit.
Her previous experience includes sales and account management for National Britannia and Connaught Compliance and business improvement and supply chain management at The Royal Mint.
Moyna Merrison – Director, Alcumus COSHH Management
Moyna has been with the organisation for over 30 years and has been instrumental in the growth, development and sustainability of our leading COSHH Management service.
Moyna has responsibility for the Alcumus COSHH Management business unit and leads the team of Occupational Hygienists, Chemists, Toxicologists and Environmental experts responsible for the day to day authoring and maintenance of our database of 750,000+ COSHH assessments, and associated monitoring services.
Amanda Jenkins – Group HR Director
Amanda brings a wealth of experience to her role as Group HR Director having held prior senior HR roles within NTL, Virgin Media, Connaught Compliance and Santia Consulting before joining Alcumus.
Amanda is a CIPD professional having gained her MSc from the University of Wales Trinity St David’s and is responsible for driving the employee engagement agenda and implementing strategic HR best practice solutions across the organisation to support the business and our future growth plans.
