We are delighted to announce that Alcumus’ recruitment team has been selected as 2018 Finalists in this years’ In-House Recruitment Awards – in three categories no less! The categories are:
- 2018 Recruitment Team – less than 1,000 employees
- Newcomer (Team)
- In house Recruitment Manager
Being shortlisted for these awards is really a huge achievement and a testament to the excellent work undertaken by Head of Recruitment and Retention Terri Foulston and the recruitment team.
Our in-house recruitment team comprised of Euiain Herring, Talent Scout, Louis Cross and Beth Poulton, Internal Recruiters, and Amelia Barwell, People Coordinator, have worked exceptionally hard over the last 12 months, focusing on key objectives to support business growth and increase our profile in the technology sector, using a range of techniques – particularly events for our target audience.
The team has encountered a number of challenges along the way, including changes of personnel and a broad range of differing and demanding stakeholder requirements, not to mention the scarcity of candidates for some of our more specialist roles.
There is no secret to the success of our newly formed team. It is based on hard work, high standards and working closely with our stakeholders. By getting to know our hiring managers, their specific requirements, the market place and our ideal candidates, the recruitment team is able to tailor the recruitment strategy accordingly. The recruitment team not only maintains very positive and constructive relationships with Business Directors and hiring managers, but our candidates too.
The team has also collaborated with our Marketing team to make our company vacancies webpage more engaging and user friendly and launched the #workforAlcumUS hash tag.
We are really thrilled that our recruitment team has been recognised in this way, we are up against tough competition.
The winners will be announced at an award ceremony on the 28th November at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, London.
