Kevin and Stacey have worked together at Alcumus ISOQAR for a while, but since August Stacey began her new role as a lead auditor. This meant that not only were they both out in the field, they were also working within the same auditing team. However, this isn’t a problem for the auditing duo and they have worked together on several external audits. Kevin even helped to train Stacey during her induction. In fact, they both tend to help each other out. They often chat about things they have learned and give each other advice. Kevin has a robust background within information security and Stacey had previously worked on the Technical team, so they are repeatedly seen boring their family with ‘work talk’. Another benefit of working together is that Kevin is like a second Sat Nav and he frequently updates Stacey with traffic and travel issues around the UK. Stacey explained that she never expected to work in the same role or alongside her Dad. When she was younger, Stacey had no idea what he did for a living and would often tell people it was something to do with computers. In fact, for years Stacey thought that her Dad was a spy! (Sorry if that blows your cover Kev). When Stacey began her job at Alcumus ISOQAR, Kevin informed her that he was working in another certification body and they found it strange how they had unexpectedly fallen into the same industry. Kevin’s CV was soon with the recruitment team and there was no looking back. The pair are excited to see what the future brings and have plenty of audits planned together this year.
