The focus groups, hosted by Director Moyna Merrison and Marketing Manager Sam Roberts, were designed to provide an interactive forum for clients to feedback on our services and help us map out the technological developments we will make to our COSHH management system over the next 24 months.
A total of sixteen clients attended the three events, representing a wide range of sectors including manufacturing, research, healthcare, food production, energy and transport and logistics. The groups provided Moyna, Sam and our development team with invaluable insights into the COSHH challenges faced by our clients and how Alcumus Sypol can help tackle them.
Some of the main topics of discussion included:
- Reviewing the CMS navigation in order to improve user experience.
- Developing a suite of e-training materials to support new users of the CMS.
- Clearer communication of changes to assessments and system updates.
- How an app could support the implementation of a robust COSHH strategy.
- Improved system functionality including a simplified interface and menu system.
Following the success of the focus groups, we want to ensure that we make practical use of your comments and feedback - so what happens now?
Over the coming weeks, we will be looking to validate the findings of the three focus groups with our wider CMS userbase via a short, online survey. This will help us identify the areas that you, our clients, feel we need to focus on and improve. We will then outline the results of the survey in a detailed report that will identify what we are going to do to improve the support that we offer our clients and help ease the COSHH management challenges that you all face.
