Renowned for its innovative and digitally-led curriculum, the University undertook a formal tendering process to select a software provider that could connect and digitalise their health, safety, hazardous substances and property compliance systems.
The University selected Alcumus, adopting both our Info Exchange software
to manage their health, safety and property compliance and our Sypol COSHH Management System
By selecting Alcumus, the University will benefit from a fully integrated risk management software solution and access to a technical helpdesk, that includes a team of chemists, toxicologists and occupational hygienists, for expertise and guidance on more complex COSHH matters.
Commenting on the partnership, Managing Director of Software for Alcumus, Danny Reeves said: “we’re excited to welcome Staffordshire University as both an Info Exchange and Sypol client."
"We work with many universities to deliver connected risk management solutions and look forward to working with the team at Staffordshire, to develop an integrated software led solution that keeps their staff, students and campuses safer, healthier and stronger.”
Sue Emery, Staffordshire University’s Head of Health, Safety and Wellbeing, said the new solution would make a fundamental difference to the University’s operations, “Our priority is to ensure that our students, colleagues and visitors have a safe and enriching experience whenever they come on to our campuses."
"This partnership with Alcumus advances our digital approach to all of our operations and ensures that we can manage risk effectively to the benefit of everyone at the University.”
