Who is this course for?
This course is designed for company employees who have responsibility within a QMS or will be involved in the auditing of such systems. The course will also benefit people who manage quality or purchasing within their organisations and wish to gain maximum benefit from the quality management system audit process.
Prior Knowledge Required (IRCA 2245)
Before starting this course delegates are expected to have knowledge of the following quality management principles & concepts:
The Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) Cycle
The relationship between quality management and customer satisfaction
Commonly used quality management terms and definitions and the 7 principles as given in ISO 9001 systems
The process approach used in quality management
The 'Model of a Process Based Quality Management System'; the structure and content of ISO 9001
Knowledge of the requirements of ISO 9001, which may be gained by completing an IRCA certified QMS Foundation Training Course, or equivalent.
This is a five day course.
This course will be conducted by quality specialists who are registered with the International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) as Lead Auditors, and who have a hands on experience of certification auditing and the requirements of quality systems. Their experience and knowledge of all aspects of audit and quality management systems provides a valuable bonus to delegates as this experience can be passed on during formal sessions and informal discussions.
