Course Overview

The NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management  enables delegates to contribute to the conduct and review of fire risk assessments, and preventative and protective measures within most workplaces.

The course covers legal requirements, the principles of fire and explosion, causes and prevention of fires and fire protection.

Successful candidates can apply to the IFE for technician grade membership.

Who is the course for?

The Fire Certificate is has been designed for managers, supervisors and personnel responsible for fire safety.

Four days plus a half day for the exam for those who have successfully completed the NEBOSH Management of Health and Safety (NGC1). For those who have not successfully completed the NGC1 there is an additional one week course.

The current course dates are as follows:

Dec 18: 11-14 December with an exam on 18 December 2018
Feb 19: 25-28 February, with an exam on 6 March 2019
Nov 19: 12-15 November, with an exam on 19 November 2019

May 19: 21-24 May, with an exam on 28 May 2019
Sep 19: 10-13 September, with an exam on 17 September 2019
