The NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety is the highest level of NEBOSH qualification recognised worldwide.
The NEBOSH Diploma covers health and safety management, hazardous agents and work equipment safety. The course builds on the topics studied in the NEBOSH certificate courses, it is also an entry requirement of the MSc courses offered by many UK universities.
The qualification meets the requirements necessary to apply for graduate membership of IOSH (GradIOSH). With continuing professional development (CPD) and initial professional development (IPD) you can then become a Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner, as a Chartered Member of IOSH (CMIOSH). The NEBOSH Diploma also allows you to use the letters 'DipNEBOSH' after your name.
Who is this course for?
It is for aspiring health and safety professionals and with nearly half of all job adverts for health and safety management requiring the NEBOSH Diploma, it offers candidates a real opportunity to develop their career and progress to strategic decision making roles.
If you intend to work as a health and safety practitioner outside the UK, the NEBOSH International Diploma might be more suitable.
The course must be completed online within five years.
