Overview

ISO 45001 is the world's first international standard for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, replacing OHSAS 18001. It enables your organisation to manage risk and helps you create and maintain a safe and healthy working environment for workers, clients and anyone else affected by your organisation's activities. The introduction of this standard means there is now consistency across the world and a framework for all organisations to refer to.

The management system is based on the use of the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) model which provides a framework for organisations to plan what they need to put into place to minimise the risk of harm. This is where Alcumus Sypol’s workplace air, noise, LEV and HAVs monitoring solutions assist in the operation of the standard. The completed assessment of on-site workplace risk helps organisations to implement and manage control measures for keeping workers safe whilst also demonstrating compliance with the ISO 45001 standard.
