ADDITIONAL SERVICES

Human Resources

It can be invaluable to have an expert on site to help, should a difficult employee relation issue arise. Our consultants can support you with a range of issues.

Handling a disciplinary or grievance matter? We can help with conducting investigations and recommend next steps – to allow you to focus on doing what your business does best.

Settlement agreements can often be a useful tool when resolving workplace disputes and for bringing employment relationships to an end in a mutually agreed way.

We can advise on what to consider when thinking about offering a settlement agreement, drafting the legal agreement and advising on any subsequent discussions or queries from the employee’s legal representative.

Most employees and employers want to take part in early conciliation to settle workplace disputes without going to an Employment Tribunal, which can be costly. This is where ACAS Early Conciliation comes in.

We will liaise with ACAS on your behalf if you do not wish to conduct the discussions yourself. This will provide you with the opportunity to offer, agree or reject settlement proposals prior to submission of an employment tribunal claim.

Since the abolishment of employment tribunal fees in July 2017, the number of claims has increased by over 165%.

Attending a tribunal can be a daunting prospect. We offer a tribunal service for uninsured clients via the services of our trusted business partner, Richard Hall & Partners.  We have a proven track record of successfully supporting our clients through the tribunal process.

Would you like to get the best out of your people to take your business to the next level? Whether it be designing a Performance Development Plan Review process or implementing a new procedure, our experienced HR consultants can help.

With support from our team you can be confident that all our HR work is completed to a high standard – we even offer a popular ‘pay as you go’ arrangement for non-subscription clients.

Our business partner Valentine Occupational Health are experts in this field. They offer a specialist support service that assists employees with personal problems and/or work-related problems that may impact their job performance, health (mental and physical) and emotional wellbeing.

An EAP will offer free and confidential guidance, support, independent advice and if required short-term counselling.

Having legal expenses insurance is invaluable when the unexpected happens. Some businesses may have never needed to call on that insurance to pay out compensation to an unhappy employee, but this doesn’t mean it will never happen.

We’ve partnered with Markel Legal Expenses Insurance (formerly Abbey Legal) to provide you with extra protection, when you need it. Founded in 1992, Markel Legal Expenses Insurance has over 25 years of experience in providing SMEs with legal expenses insurance.
