Audit Team Manager

An Alcumus ISOQAR role based in the South West

Location: UK/Nationwide

Salary: Up to £41,000 dependent on qualifications, skills and experience.

Role Purpose: 

You will be based from home and will have day to day management responsibility of the assigned team of auditors, who are responsible for delivering an effective and compliant certification audit process, ensuring that all business and UKAS requirements are adhered to. 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Carry out audits of management systems. Mentor, monitor and witness audit staff. Day to day point of contact including regular communication with team members.

  • Mentoring new starters, full-time staff and sub-contractors.

  • Carrying out training activities with new and existing Audit staff identified within your team, at 

  • appraisals, witnessed audits or from other training needs reviews. Facilitating training to qualify all audit staff to audit a varying range of standards. Recommending when a trainee is ready to take a relevant Lead Auditor course.

  • Provide justification for allocation of EAC codes and maintain competence records as appropriate.

  • Following up customer feedback regarding team members.

  • Carrying out witnessed audits as required.

  • Conducting post audit reviews for team of auditors as required.

  • Approval of Concur expense claims.

  • Authorise holiday requests.

  • Investigating complaints as required.

  • Carry out annual PDR reviews of assigned audit team members.

  • Maximise fee earning potential/revenue per head of team

Required Experience:

  • Good knowledge of the certification industry.

  • Lead auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. 

  • General knowledge of the range of other standards offered by Alcumus ISOQAR.

  • Knowledge of other group members and the services provided.
