Management Systems Trainer

Location:  North West – delivering from the Manchester office but with additional travel where required.  

Salary:  £40-45,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.

Role Purpose: 

As a member of the Alcumus ISOQAR Academy team of field based Management Systems Trainers, to present training courses at a wide range of clients located at our training venues, throughout the UK and, if required, overseas.

Role Responsibilities:
 

  • To deliver a range of management systems training courses against the requirements of a range of International Standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001  and OHSAS 18001

  • To submit training and learning reports in the required format to Head Office with recommendations for action to be taken

  • To promote the benefits of certification/training to management system standards for existing clients and to undertake visits to potential clients in order to maximise market share

  • To identify sales opportunities for additional certification and training courses

  • Operating within a regional structure (North/Midlands/South), to ensure that the personal diary is at full capacity and that it is monitored in order to transfer training delivery to more locally based trainers to avoid unneccessary travel

  • Travel to client sites and overnight stays (on average 40 nights per year)

  • To undertake exam marking, bespoke course development and other duties assigned by the Head of Operations or Technical Director.


Required Experience:
 

  • Good knowledge of the certification industry

  • Good knowledge of teaching and learning strategies / differentiation techniques

  • Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 (ISO 45001) 

  • A depth of industry knowledge (general) from which to draw examples

  • General knowledge of the range of other standards offered by Alcumus ISOQAR

  • Knowledge of other group members and the services provided.

  • Good understanding of management systems and standards and their implementation

  • Teaching and learning strategies

  • Good understanding of audit methodology 

  • Knowledge of specific sector scheme standards and their requirements

  • IT skills in Word, Excel and Power Point

  • Degree or equivalent in a business-related subject

  • Teaching and learning qualification (negotiable)

  • ISO 9001, ISO 14001and ISO 18001 Lead Auditor Pass or other Lead Auditor Qualification plus Lead Auditor Pass in any other standard relevant to the individual sector.

  • Report Writing

  • Presentation skills

  • Listening skills.
