Job Title: Infrastructure Team Lead
Salary: £Competitive plus benefits.
Location: Your working location may be temporarily different due to Covid-19. Once applicable, your normal working location will be Cardiff
 
The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure the Infrastructure Team Leader role holds responsibility for leading a team of Infrastructure Analysts to support, develop and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure. This individual will be leading on a variety of different projects within the business from specification through to build. It will also involve day to day technology support for the business during working hours.
In addition, this role will be responsible for leading daily meetings, team 121s, shift tracking, holiday allocation and project work allocation amongst the team. We expect this role to be largely hands on, with the added leadership responsibilities. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to stretch themselves or step into a leadership role for the first time.

The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for an individual who above all shares our values, but also has the following demonstrable experience:
  • Experience within a similar role or aspiration to move into a team lead position.
  • Strong network and back office systems.
  • Experience of AWS/Azure.
  • Microsoft 365 and Windows server administration is essential.
  • You will also have some exposure or an aspiration to lead a team of infrastructure analysts.
  • Experience of conducting 121s, authorising holidays, leading projects and shift allocation would be ideal.
  • You will also need to know how to get the best out of your people and make this happen!
