Salary:  Up to £50,000 per annum

Role Purpose: 
 
We are seeking a hungry and effective Strategic Account Manager to bolster our already successful sales team. Reporting directly to the Sales Director you will be responsible for developing durable and efficient relationships with key stakeholders, specifically at C-level, accelerating revenue and profitability of our Key Accounts.  


Role Responsibilities:

  • Regular account reviews with key stakeholders

  • Building and delivering pipeline of new business

  • Achieve and exceed sales and account penetration targets

  • Develop and maintain robust strategic account management plans for each key account

  • Clear strategic planning including: goals, research, people and DMP mapping and big play strategies

  • Identify opportunities to develop and enhance relationships with allocated accounts to ensure maximum commercial value extracted

  • Develop key relationships with marketing to ensure that the plan reflects and supports the direction of the service and the sector/territory requirements.

  • Play a key role in the development and mentoring of new field recruits.

  • Create an annual business plan through GOSPA methodology to ensure exceptional execution of objectives, strategies, plans and actions to deliver agreed goals and targets

 
Required Experience/Personal Characteristics:

  • Previous successful experience of implementing successful key account management strategies and plans

  • Driven to monitor and achieve target numbers

  • COSHH knowledge

  • Commercially astute to be able to identify business opportunities and innovative solutions to deliver

  • Experience account management with FTSE 500 or Fortune 500 companies

  • Excellent communicator at all levels

  • Excellent negotiation skills to ensure full value is achieved for the business

  • Experience of defining and implementing a sales strategy to achieve annual targets

  • Highly motivated and ability to be part of the team

  • Highly active senior sales professional
